Complete question parts a-e at http://tinyurl.com/y9td3qe2 looks like this:
- teacher comments follow
- a) Nice probability question from a dot plot
- b) Nice interpretation question of the standard deviation WITH CONTEXT
- c) Nice comparison of two measures of center from two dot plots without using actual values
- d) Nice reminder of using Random (given) Normal (since n<30, CLT does not apply, but the dot plots show no apparent skew or outliers) Independent (assume the population is at least 50times10 = 500) (RNI) for the conditions for a confidence interval for mean, also nice recommendation to “scribble out” if erasing takes up too much time 😊
- e) Nice reminder of how if zero does not lie in the confidence interval, we have no support for the statement of no difference (giving evidence in favor of a difference)
