2020 AP Stats Exam "Last Minute Practice/Study Option" #6

Hi all:

I’m continuing to send to you something each weekday that you may choose to do (“Last Minute Practice/Study Options”) in preparation for your 2020 AP Stats Exam this Friday.  These are simply options for those test takers who want something “new” to look at each day…otherwise just keep doing the things I’ve already sent to you 😊

RECOMMENDATION---IF YOU HAVEN’T ALREADY, ADD NOTES TO YOUR 2020 FORMULA SHEET (ATTACHED) AND TAKE A PRACTICE EXAM WITH THESE NOTES, HAVE THIS READY FOR YOUR EXAM:

Since this is an open book/open notes exam, you could create a brief (easy to look at for quick reference) note sheet on this and any other topics that are challenging for you.  This would be a safeguard sheet that you could look at quickly when/if you get stuck.  Maybe just add these “quick notes” to your formula sheet so that everything is on one sheet.

  • Add those brief reminders, formula, notes to the formula sheet.
  • Take a practice test with that sheet so it's exactly like exam day.  When taking the exam if you run into a part or two that you are unsure of, skip those parts and come back to them after you’ve finished the other parts.  Practice completing the entire test, no blanks, since you could get partial credit on unsure parts. College Board told us that you could still get a 5 with partial credit!
  • Add more notes (if you need to) to that formula sheet based on your practice exam results.
  • Repeat these steps with another practice test if you have time to do so, etc.
