2005 FRQ #1 “Caloric Intake”:
- Nice reference on how to create and read a key for a back-to-back stem plot
- a): for comparing a distribution use SOCS + Context. Actual values are not needed for center and spread.
- b): Nice reminder of how you can only generalize to the population from which the sample is taken
- c): Nice review on how a larger n-value (in this case 7) gives less variability (you can say more precise estimate for this)
- EXTREMELY IMPORTANT EXPLANATION ON GRADING/SCORING RUBRIC USING Essentially correct, Partially Correct, Incorrect categories
2017 FRQ #1 “Wolves”:
- a): Nice review of positive, linear, and strong IN CONTEXT
- b): Nice review of the interpretation of slope
