Chapter 11 Teacher Notes and 2020 AP Stats Exam thoughts...
Hello all!
I sent by email attached complete teacher notes pages 1-10 for Chapter
11 represents material that is NOT on the 2020 AP Exam. I DID NOT SAVE IT TO THE WEEBLY SITE SINCE IT TECHNICALLY "NOT REQUIRED" THIS YEAR 2020. PLEASE EMAIL ME IF YOU DID NOT GET THIS AND YOU WANT IT. Last week and
this week College Board is covering lessons (taught by Luke Wilcox and Brian
Murphy) so that “students have the full experience of AP Statistics for college
only”. However I thought you may these in-class teacher notes to go along
with what they are teaching.
FOR THOSE STUDENTS WHO STILL PLAN TO TAKE THE 2020 45
Minute AP Stats Exam:
Right now the best approach that we have with AP is
utilizing what they are revealing to us as they unfold the “new” unique 2020 AP
Exams.
A One Page Overview given by AP:

So I will be watching each day along with students to find
out how they doing this. My approach cannot be what the exam used to be
since this is not the case this year. So I’m finding out with you as we
“read, watch and learn”...
This is how I feel we should be looking at it at this
time:
—We will watch all of the AP updates on the college board
website.
—We will watch all of the lessons provided to us by these
college board chosen “professionals” to educated us on what we need to know.
Right now they have provided for us some generalities on the exam format
and it’s offering styles. However right now they tell us that the lessons
(Chapter 11 and Part of Chapter 12) they’re giving (last week and this upcoming
week) are NOT on the exam. But we watch to get used to the teachers’
style of teaching.
—At this time I have been providing (through email and
website postings) my personal notes and answers to assignments gradually since
we still have plenty of time to get this handled. I promise that I will
do ALL that I can to help the students who decide to take the exam as we find
out more things unfold.
For now, here again is what I recommend students look at carefully
to follow along with me as I learn myself (the daily 45 minute lessons are
recorded so you watch at any time :) :
Please let me know how I can ever help more at any time!
Email me any questions, comments, thoughts as often as you like!!
Take care!!!
